WavianBlue open for new customers again

We thought it would be a good idea to share some news from our sister website, wavianblue.com regarding supplying AdBlue to customers.

Due to the situation in Ukraine during the past months a regular supply of certified AdBlue has been very difficult for us to source. As a result we were forced to make the decision to supply only our existing AdBlue customers and withhold any orders from anyone else while supplied were limited. Today we are pleased to say that we are now once again able to sell AdBlue to anyone (see the website for conditions regarding delivery / collection etc).

Our core products are the 1000 Litre IBC or the 1000 Litre IBC Starter Kits (see below) that come complete with a gravity hose or pump. They are idea cost effective solutions for when you have a fleet of cars or vans that require a regular supply of AdBlue.

What is AdBlue?

AdBlue or (DEF, which stands for diesel exhaust fluid), is a mixture of urea and deionized water that is used in vehicles equipped with selective catalytic reduction (SCR) systems to reduce emissions of nitrogen oxides (NOx). DEF is typically used in diesel vehicles to meet emissions standards, and it is typically stored in a separate tank from the diesel fuel. When the DEF is injected into the exhaust stream, it breaks down the NOx molecules into nitrogen and water, which are both relatively harmless and can be easily released into the atmosphere.
