This special stub nose ‘smart’ spout uses a manual spring action to dispense fuel at a slower, more controlled rate. Please note this spout does not fit our ‘Site Can’.

Our cans are rinsed out with a cleaning fluid after they are manufactured which does have a fuel-like scent to it. We can confirm that this is normal and does no harm to the can or the fuel that is then put inside.

No. The coloured steel cans are lined with a rezinol lining inside and are suitable for fuel only, not water.

Our Wavian branded cans are top quality fuel cans. They are made to the highest standards to last a lifetime. The Site Cans are a more affordable solution to storing fuel & we wanted to give our customers the option of having a lower-price choice of steel can. The Wavian quality may not be matched, but they are a decent can for fuel storage.

    Rigid bayonet style ‘Smart Spout’ with dry break system – Red
    Please note: Because of the Smart Spout’s unique design we recommend its use only with our 5 & 10 Litre Wavian Fuel Cans.

    This special stub nose ‘smart’ spout uses a manual spring action to dispense fuel at a slower, more controlled rate. The dry break is an added safety feature that ensures no source of ignition can penetrate the can from the spout area. This spout is idea for the filling of smaller tanks eg, chainsaws.

    · Optimum flow is assured when using our spouts with our cans
    · Special breathing channel provides steady, glug-free, pouring
    · Each spout has an internal filter to protect charging tank from dirt and foreign bodies
    · Suitable for 5L and 10L ‘Bayonet Style’ Wavian Jerry Cans only, this spout will not fit the camouflage fuel cans or the ‘site’ fuel cans.

      Just be aware the fuel sort of sprays out around the black tip at end of spout, so you need to fully insert nozzle into whatever you are filling.
