How to Clean up & Store

After use, the filter straw should be backlashed with clean water.

Draw clean water through the device, and then blow the clean water back through the mouthpiece. This will help clear the membrane surface of sediment and particles. Repeat 3-5 times.

Clean water can also be backflushed through the mouthpiece by using a pressurised water source (eg a hose or tap). For best results backlash in pulses.

After, shake out the residual water from the filter straw and allow it to air dry (do not place it in the oven or microwave), and then store the filter in a cool dry place.
