A bespoke polished 20 Litre Stainless Steel Jerry Can with bayonet lid based on the optimum (and original) capacity Jerry Cans that are designed to last a lifetime.

Our cans are rinsed out with a cleaning fluid after they are manufactured which does have a fuel-like scent to it. We can confirm that this is normal and does no harm to the can or the fuel that is then put inside.

No. The coloured steel cans are lined with a rezinol lining inside and are suitable for fuel only, not water.

Our Wavian branded cans are top quality fuel cans. They are made to the highest standards to last a lifetime. The Site Cans are a more affordable solution to storing fuel & we wanted to give our customers the option of having a lower-price choice of steel can. The Wavian quality may not be matched, but they are a decent can for fuel storage.

        Thanks for the comments, I am sorry you had a bad experience. The email to get feedback on your purchase is always sent over 7 days after the order has been received by us. It gives us a chance to hear honest feedback from our customers, which we think is important, usually orders are there within 24-48 hours of ordering so I am not sure why the courier took so long on this occasion. We are sympathetic to your comments about postage charges, but our charges only reflect what it costs us to send an order out and in many cases we actually lose money on the delivery charges.

      Well made, jerry cans- not the thin SS some cans are made from. I would have rated them as 5 but one of the three cans I bought leaked badly from the fill spout (unable to see why it leaked.)
      I prised out the seal,inverted it and refitted in place – no longer leaking.
      Overall, pleased with my purchase and despite the one niggle would buy again and have already recomended them to a friend.

      I bought these for an expedition to fill with water. They arrived brand new in plastic, but they absolutely REEKED of petrol. They were definitely used jerry cans that had been filled with fuel, and ruined my expedition. Wasted a lot of money (I bought 3) and will not buy again from Waivan.

This is quite normal with all cans made from metal. We sell a range of strong, plastic containers that may have been more suitable for your purpose on this occasion.
