Green Valley boss and Historic Rally Driver Simon Webster was in action last weekend in his classic Ford Escort MK2, storming to a second place finish in round three of the FUCHS LUBRICANTS Motorsport UK British Historic Rally Championship in Kielder Forest, Carlisle (8th June 2019).
Simon was in first place and flying coming into the final stage, four seconds clear of the chasing pack when a back marker rejoining the race just in front of Simon costing the team (along with co-driver Jez Rogers) vital seconds on the way to the chequered flag.

The hold up almost certainly denied Simon a first win of the season and it was left to Matthew Robinson and Sam Collins to snatch victory on a weekend when many of the crews were hit by problems in tough driving conditions.

Have a look at the video for some in-car footage of Simon in action from the weekend.
