Product of the week – 230 Litre Diesel Fuel Tank

This high quality 230 litre diesel fuel tank from Atlantis is a relatively new addition to the www.jerrycans.co.uk range of portable fuel tanks and trolleys. We’ve been really impressed with the tanks high specification features combined with a low price and are proud to make this item available to purchase to you.

The fuel tank is made from a tough polythene plastic and is suitable for use in-situ at a workshop/ warehouse or more commonly deployed on a vehicle for mobile use on location.

50 Litre Capacity 
With a capacity of 230 litres (50 gallons) the tank is specifically designed for the safe transportation and dispensing of Diesel and Kerosene (please check before using with other liquids). It is powered by a traditional 12v battery (not supplied) which is attached to fuel tank by a 4 metre battery cable supplied with crocodile clips.

The cover can be locked with a key for security purposes and with an (empty) weight of 28kg it is possible for 2 persons (using the correct lifting techniques) to transport the fuel tank over short distances manually with the handles supplied. When the unit has been filled with fuel there are 2 way access mouldings underneath to allow easy movement with a fork lift.

Easy to Use
The fuel is dispensed from the unit via a 4 metre delivery hose and comes supplied with an automatic delivery nozzle – this is much like a modern filling station pump and the pump will shut off automatically should the fuel tank being filled reach capacity. There are also two optional extras available to purchase with the 230 litre diesel fuel tank

Digital Flow Meter
The 230 litre Atlantis diesel fuel tank can be used in conjunction with a digital flow meter. The flow meter will allow you to record the amount of fuel dispensed. It is powered by 2 X AA batteries (not supplied)

Contents Guage
The dial gauge screws into a port on top of the tank. This allows you to see how much fuel is contained within the tank.
